Dr Mohan Kannam specialised in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of eye conditions and diseases in children and adults. He is trained in diagnosing & treatment of  wide range of eye problems that may arise in infancy, childhood, and adolescence, such as amblyopia (lazy eye), strabismus (crossed eyes), refractive errors (nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism), congenital cataracts, squint (crossed eyes)

He had completed his basic medical school from NRI medical college, Guntur and residency in ophthalmology from BW Lions superspeciality Eye Hospital,Bangalore.He received additional two years of fellowship training in Pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus from L V Prasad Eye Institute (LVPEI).Following his training, he worked as consultant  at LVPEI to enrich his experience in adult cataract, Pediatric and Neuro-Ophthalmology services.

Dr Mohan Kannam often works in close collaboration with other specialists, such as Pediatricians, Neonatologists, Geneticists, and Pediatric Neurologists,Neurologists,Physicians to ensure the best possible outcomes for his patients.

In addition to treating eye conditions in children, he also plays a crucial role in preventative care which he believes firmly.He perform regular eye exams to detect and treat vision problems early on, helping to prevent long-term vision impairment and related developmental delays in children and visual morbidities in adults.
